Author should have taken a look at Mathew Parker's, Monte Cassino. In addition the end of this book seems to just drop off the edge of telling the overall conclusion of the Italian campaign.

I would however suggest reading this book however only after reading Parker's Monte Cassino by: 3. It was a good book but difficult to read at some points. The title is misleading as it says "A German View".
